Gandalf Campbell

Gandalf along with Strider became Delta certified and joined PAWS in April 2006. This Belgian Tervuren, known by his little friends as the "Gentle Giant", loved to go hiking, backpacking, boating, and mountain biking. He taught his special friend, Strider, all he knew). In spite of his size, smaller children gravitated to him due to his gentle demeanour. Shortly after joining PAWS, Gandalf was diagnosed with cancer. Until his death almost a year later, he was read to by the children in the Hall Fletcher "Paws 'n Tales" program, and enjoyed being one of the representatives of PAWS at special events.
