Chase and Jackson Schaffer

! I’m the one of the left, Jackson. the dog with me is my uncle chase. we're both about the same age (9) so we just call ourselves brothers. we are shetland sheepdogs (shelties). by nature we love to herd sheep but, since sheep are hard to come by in our neck of the woods, we've taken up soccer and can play a mean game of fetch (which means we chase the balls but sometimes forget to bring them back and so mommy and daddy actually do a lot of the fetching!). since we are so spoiled, we decided this year that it was time to give back and so we joined Paws. when i am not playing or hiking, i am happy just to curl up beside you and stay put. that's why i'll be participating in the reading program. chase, on the other hand, likes to always be moving and smelling or licking everything. that's why he wants to be in programs like SUWS so he doesn't have to sit still. whichever program we are in, we just hope we can make people as happy as we are!
